Wine consumption per capita in Portugal 2017/2018-2022/2023
In Portugal, wine consumption generally increased over the considered period, as, during the 2017/2018 harvest season, each Portuguese drank 49 liters of wine, and, in the 2021/2022 season, the per capita consumption volume totaled 58 liters. A decrease was registered during the 2019/2020 season when consumption reached only 42.5 liters of wine, but also during the 2022/2023 season, when 53 liters of wine were consumed per capita.
