Equity deals in AI startup Anthropic were the largest for the year of 2023. It had received over two billion U.S. dollars in equity purchases. Anthropic, Inflection, Aleph Alpha, Mistral AI, and OpenAI are all major competitors in the generative AI sphere. These have been garnering attention, and vasts amount of funding, from the largest of tech companies such as Google and Microsoft.
