Health problem concerns with aging among younger and older U.S. adults 2022
A survey from 2022 found that when thinking about aging and growing older, emotional health was the leading health concern among those aged under 40 years. In contrast, among those aged 80 years and older, stamina, strength, and flexibility were the leading health concerns when thinking about aging. This statistic shows the percentage of U.S. adults 40 years and younger and 80 years and older who were extremely or very concerned with select health problems when thinking about aging.
