Share of households with at least one car in Israel 2020 by sub-district
In 2020, 88.4 percent of households in the Hadera subdistrict in Israel owned at least one car. This subdistrict topped the list of households with at least one car in the country. The Sharon subdistrict followed closely with nearly 83 percent of households owning at least one car. These two subdistricts are considered relatively rural comprised of many small settlements (Moshav, Kibbutz, Yeshov). At the bottom of the list was the subdistrict of Holon, where only 58 percent of households owned a car. Overall, nearly 72 percent of all households in the country owned at least one car in 2020.
