In 2022, Asus was the leading desktop PC vendor in Italy, holding 30 percent of the market. HP ranked second, occupying 21 percent of the Italian desktop PC market. By contrast, Apple accounted for only five percent.

The subsegment Desktop PCs focuses on non-portable computers including PC towers, All-in-One stations, Gaming PCs, Minis, etc. It does not include any single purpose computing devices such as servers or NAS (Network Attached Storage).

Market values represent revenues paid to primary vendors at manufacturer price level either directly or through distribution channels (excluding VAT). Reported market revenues include spending by consumers (B2C), enterprises (B2B) as well as governments (B2G). Revenues are allocated to the country where the money is spent. Company examples: Hewlett Packard (HP), Lenovo, Dell, Fujitsu, Apple, Asus.
