Number of organic product launches in the Netherlands 2017-2021, by company
Albert Heijn, the leading supermarket chain in the Netherlands, was responsible for the most new organic product launches in the period 2017-2021. In these five years, Albert Heijn launched and sold 343 new organic food products, nearly double the amount of the runner-up on the list, food producer Udea. Albert Heijn's main competitor in the Dutch supermarket battleground, Jumbo, only launched 131 new organic products in this timeframe.
