Italy-based oil supermajor Eni is the only Big Oil company recording an inrease in its reserves to production ratio between 2015 and 2020. Eni's reserves to production ratio grew from 10.7 years to 11.9 years. By comparison, ExxonMobil recorded the most notable slump, with its production ratio falling from 16.6 years to 11.1 years in the same time span. As of 2020, BP had the highest reserves to production rate of these companies. Reserves to production ratio measures the number of years a company will be able to produce oil at current levels when taking into account its total reserves volume.
