Organizational data retrieval methods after a ransomware attack 2022
After experiencing a ransomware attack, roughly 46 percent of organizations worldwide paid up to get their encrypted data back. Survey data from January to February 2022 found that a third of affected companies used other means, while 57 percent used backups to regain access to their data. Overall, 99 percent of companies got their data back after a ransomware attack.
