Canada newspaper circulation 2023, by province
As of June 2023, the total circulation of newspapers in Canada (including both daily and community newspapers) was over 28.19 million. Circulation in British Columbia was just over three million, more than twice that of Manitoba, whereas Yukon had a total newspaper circulation of just 12.4 thousand. Whilst controlled (free) circulation accounted for about 17 million of the total, some parts of Canada had a higher circulation of paid newspapers than controlled, such as the Northwest Territories, Yukon, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island.
