YouTube influencer marketing spend affected by COVID-19 worldwide Q1 2019-Q1 2020
A comparison of global spending on YouTube influencer marketing in the first quarters of 2019 and 2020 shows that COVID-19 had a smaller impact on this type of marketing than it had on other forms of advertising. Influencer marketing on YouTube experienced only a slightly lower growth between the two periods, but growth nonetheless, with March 2020 figures reaching 479 million dollars, as compared to 453 million spent in March 2019.
