Market concentration of non-life insurance companies in European countries 2020
Market concentration is an easy way to illustrate how the market within an industry is distributed among companies of various sizes. In 2020, Germany was the least concentrated non-life insurance market with the top ten insurers making up 52 percent of the market. On the other end of the spectrum stood many countries such as Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Iceland, Finland, Slovenia, and Slovakia, where the market was entirely dominated by the largest ten insurers.
