COVID-19 impact on cost-per-click in India 2019-2020, by industry
The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic was seen to have a negative impact on the average cost-per-click online search advertising in the internet and telecom industry across India in March 2020, compared to October 2019. On the other hand, CPCs for pharmaceuticals, online education and beauty/skincare increased in the same period. CPC was highest for the insurance industry at almost one U.S. dollar in March 2020.
