United Kingdom: prevalence of liver cirrhosis 2000-2019, by gender
In 2019, approximately 18,047 men and 11,596 women per 100,000 population the United Kingdom suffered from liver cirrhosis or another chronic liver disease. Both genders in the UK have experienced a general increase in the prevalence of cirrhosis since the year 2000, although the rate is a lot higher in males.
