EBITDA of Warner Bros. Discovery's direct-to-consumer business 2021-2024
Warner Bros. Discovery reported income before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) of 86 million U.S. dollars with its direct-to-consumer segment in the first fiscal quarter of 2024. This marks a growth of over 30 million U.S. dollars compared with the same period of the previous year. In order to become profitable, the media company recently decreased content spending, including the removal of several TV series and movies from streaming service Max, and cut hundreds of jobs.
