In a survey conducted in August 2023, the most common grocery food items purchased weekly by respondents were fresh fruits and vegetables, with around 65 percent of respondents indicating this. Dairy products and eggs were the next most common grocery items stocked up on during consumers' weekly shop, followed by baked goods, such as bread.
