Tuberculosis death incidence in Latin America & the Caribbean 2021, by country
In 2021, Guyana recorded an estimate of 16 deaths per 100,000 people due to tuberculosis, which made it the country with the highest tuberculosis mortality rate in the Latin American and Caribbean region. Bolivia and Peru followed, with 15 and 12 tuberculosis deaths per 100,000 inhabitants, respectively. That year, Jamaica had the lowest tuberculosis death incidence in the region, with 0.39 deceases per 100,000 people.
