Disagreement to social media ban due to ability to spot fake news India 2019
Ipsos in June 2019, only 60 percent of Indian respondents agreed that temporary social media bans were unnecessary to stop the flow of fake news, since most people are capable of separating facts from fiction. Of these, about 20 percent strongly agreed with this statement.
