Aside from its many recent acquisitions, the company has also recently gone through a complete rebranding process. In 2013, the company changed its former name of PPR (Pinault-Printemps-Redoute) to the current one, which is meant to invoke the English word “caring”; a statement of the company’s care toward its customers and employees alike. At the same time, Kering has re-evaluated its corporate responsibility practices and its sustainability.
