Prevalence of calcium antagonist use among hypertensive people in Italy 2006-2021
The prevalence in the use of calcium channel blockers (CCBs) among individuals suffering from hypertension in Italy gradually decreased between 2006 and 2021. According to the data, in fact, the share of people affected by this disease and taking CCBs was equal to almost 26 percent in 2006, while by 2021 this figure reached roughly 18.9 percent. This statistic shows the share of individuals taking calcium channel blockers (CCBs) among those suffering from hypertension in Italy from 2006 to 2021.
