Netherlands: opinions on reducing food waste in restaurants 2014-2019

The survey results indicate that the share of respondents who (strongly) agree that restaurants should do more against food waste increased significantly between 2014 and 2019. In 2014, just over 68 percent of respondents felt that restaurants should do more to reduce food waste, whereas by 2019, this figure had increased to approximately 80 percent.
