Soft drinks sales share in Japan 2023, by container type
In 2023, PET bottles were the most common container type within the non-alcoholic beverage market in Japan, accounting for 75 percent of the domestic sales volume. In contrast, glass bottles accounted for only two percent of domestic soft drink sales.
