The timeline presents the average advertising revenue per user (AARPU) of selected media companies and online publishers in the United States from 2016 to 2020. It was found that Snapchat's AARPU in 2017 amounted to 7.16 U.S. dollars and it is projected to grow to over 31 U.S. dollars by the end of 2020.
