Canadian perception of the safety of GM foods for consumption by education 2017
This statistic illustrates consumer perception regarding the safety of genetically modified (GM) foods in Canada as of June 2017, broken down by the consumer's education. Some 34 percent of respondents, who have a high school education or less, perceived GM foods to be generally safe for consumption. Some 52 percent of respondents, who have a university degree or higher, perceived GM foods to be generally safe for consumption.
