Deaths from AIDS in Spain 2022, by autonomous community
In 2022, there were 303 deaths from acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) in Spain, a decrease compared to previous years. Andalusia ranked as the autonomous community with the highest number of deaths due to AIDS, with 73 casualties. Valencia and Catalonia followed, registering 49 deaths and 38 fatal cases due to this condition caused by an HIV infection.
