This chart shows results from an online survey conducted in Great Britain in 2016 on how the price of a weekly shop will change once Britain leaves the EU, by age group. Older respondents seemed to be less skeptical about the development of prices since 46 percent of the oldest age group thought that prices will stay much the same. Only 29 percent of those aged 25 to 49 thought so, while half of them expected shopping prices to increase outside of the EU.
When Britain leaves the European Union, how do you think the price of your own weekly shop will change?*
