Indonesia is one of Oppo's largest market in the Asia-Pacific region. Despite its declining number of global shipments, Oppo succeeded to maintain its leading position in Indonesia. This is shown by an increase in the brand's share of shipments in the country that reached a 21 percent share, mainly amplified by its low-end device models. However, in recent years the Chinese company has also started to target the high-end market through innovative smartphone models such as the Find N series.

In 2022, the number of social media users in Indonesia amounted to over 200 million and is still expected to grow in the next years.
