Mamma Chia is a conscious and sustainable company which manufactures and markets organic food and beverages containing chia seeds. Native to Mexico and Guatemala, the chia plant is commercially cultivated for its seeds which are good sources of protein, fiber, omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants. Chia has become increasingly popular in recent years and was the leading ingredient among natural products in 2012.
