According to the 2020 survey, 54 percent of respondents in Finland had purchased clothing and footwear products online within the past year. The second most popular category for online purchases was home electronics, followed by books and audiobooks.

The source adds the following information: "The report is based on consumer surveys conducted on a monthly basis in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland from January through June 2019. The total number of respondents surveyed was 43,468."

"Because the results are obtained using an online survey, the findings are representative for the percentage of the population who have access to the Internet. In cases where estimates are presented as applying to the population as a whole, the results have been adjusted to reflect the degree of Internet penetration in the particular market."
