Economic U.S: treatment expenditures for diseases by medtech incentives 2010-2035
This statistic displays the projected treatment expenditures of selected diseases in the United States from 2010 to 2035, sorted by extent of medtech incentives. Under continued incentives in medical technology, heart diseases would have treatment expenditures totaling almost 2.7 trillion U.S. dollars during these years. The direct economic benefit of medical technology such as devices and diagnostics is simple to measure, however, including indirect costs such as reducing the length of hospital stays is more complex to find.
