This statistic presents the rate of diagnoses of mental health problems in the UK armed forces in 2018/19, by service. The Royal Marines showed the lowest rate of psychological problems compared to the three other services. The Air Force and the Army had the highest rates of service personnel having been diagnosed with some sort of mental disorder during their service in 2018/19, with the RAF noting a rate of 29.5.
