Percentage of selected U.S. pre-K programs meeting quality standards 2020
For the school year of 2019-20, the staff professional development benchmark of each staff member receiving at least 15 hours of professional development was met by only 14 percent of surveyed pre-kindergarten programs in the United States. In comparison, 60 percent of surveyed pre-K programs had comprehensive, aligned, supported, and culturally sensitive early learning standards.
