According to a survey conducted in the United Kingdom, households belonging to the highest ten percent gross income decile group spent the most on take away meals eaten at home in the fiscal year ending 2022. On average, households belonging to this income decile group spent 8.3 British pounds weekly on take aways. Overall, the ranking of decile groups was generally reflected in the amount each group spent on take aways, with the sixth decile group being the only outlier, having spent more than the seventh decile group by 0.8 British pounds.
