This statistic shows the results of a survey among American adults on how much they blame the Obama administration or the Bush administration (i.e. George W. Bush) for the problems the American middle class had to face over the last ten years. The survey was conducted in July 2012, shortly before the presidential election. 47 percent of respondents blame the Bush administration a lot for the problems the middle class has had to cope with, while 33 percent blame the Obama administration.
