Most common unpaid caregiving activities in the U.S. in 2023
In the United States, among responding workers who provided unpaid caregiving, the majority tended to provide help with groceries or other shopping, transportation, and housework. Four in ten caregivers also helped their care recipients in getting dressed and bathing or showering. The most common caregiving recipients were the caregiver's mother or mother-in-law.
