Global gaming industry quarterly VC funding 2024

Venture capital (VC) investment in the gaming industry sector peaked in 2021. In the fourth quarter of 2022, amounts of VC funding generated by investment in the global gaming industry amounted to 3.33 billion U.S. dollars before declining significantly throughout 2022 and 2023. In the first quarter of 2024, gaming VC funding leveled rose to 594 million U.S. dollars for the period.
