Main types of travel U.S. consumers plan to take in the upcoming year 2023
During a December 2023 survey, it was revealed that visiting family and friends was the leading type of leisure travel consumers in the United States planned to take in the following year, with 46 percent of the survey sample saying so. Meanwhile, the second and third trip types in the ranking were beach vacations and road trips.
