Leading e-commerce emerging roles worldwide 2023
In 2023, e-commerce leaders gave insight into the emerging roles in e-commerce worldwide. Category manager had the highest share of respondents, around 43 percent, underscoring its prominence as the top emerging dedicated e-commerce role. Strategy and omnichannel account managers (AM) or customer sales roles followed closely, each garnering about four out of ten mentions among surveyed leaders.
