Loans signed by Ghana's government for education sector development 2021
In the financial year 2021, the government of Ghana signed loans to carry out projects in the education sector. The largest commitment (nearly 203 million U.S. dollars) was intended for the establishment of nine new state of the art Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) centers in Ghana, accredited by the ING Bank NV
and BNP Paribas. Moreover, the second phase (Facility A) of the construction of University of Environment and Sustainable Development in Somanya led to the signing of a loan in the value of around 49 million U.S. dollars, provided by the Deutsche Bank.
