U.S.: fleet-average CO₂ emissions of electric vehicles by manufacturer 2022
In 2022, Tesla recorded no direct fleet emissions, leading to the manufacturer recording the lowest fleet average carbon emission in the United Stats. It was followed by Volvo and Kia, at an average of 142 and 159 grams of carbon emission per kilometer, respectively. On the other hand, Jaguar Land Rover's light-duty electric vehicle fleet had the highest emission level among other automakers in the country, with 245 grams of CO₂ per kilometer. The U.S. fleet-average emission was recorded at 183 grams of CO₂ per kilometer.
