Age-standardized breast cancer prevalence rate in South Africa 2009-2019
As of 2019, the age standardized breast cancer prevalence rate was highest among the white female population group with 92.02 recorded incidences per 100,000 population. Indian/Asian females followed with 53.39 incidences per 100,000 population in the same year. However, Black African females had the lowest rate with 21.56 reported incidences of breast cancer in 2019.
