Concern about ability to pay for energy bills in selected countries worldwide 2022
According to a survey carried out between May and June 2022, 56 percent of respondents from 28 countries were concerned about their ability to pay for gas and electricity bills. In South Africa, almost 80 percent of respondents were concerned about this issue, with 54 percent reporting being very concerned.
