In 2022, about 146.6 out of 10 thousand individuals in Italy were treated for some kind of mental health disorder in local mental health facilities (Centro di Salute Mentale - CSM). This statistic breaks down this figure by diagnosis. The most common mental health disorders detected among the Italian population were depression, schizophrenia, and psychoses.
