Based on a survey on Ramadan conducted in 2022, Moroccan respondents reported a higher willingness to visit their hometown to celebrate Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr than in the previous year. In 2022, 63 percent said they were planning to visit their hometown for the festivities compared to 42 percent in 2021.
