Share of spectators using face masks during J. League games 2021, by type of seat
In the last games of the 2021 season that took place in November and December, the share of people who used protective face masks during soccer games in the J. League amounted to 95 percent among those sitting on normal seats. Almost all spectators fully complied with the regulations, regardless of the type of seat they were using. Regulations also prohibited chanting or (vocal) cheering of the fans - a rule which was observed most of the time.
