U.S. perception of social media handling COVID-19 misinformation 2021, by gender
A July 2021 survey of adults in the United States found that 39 percent of male respondents reported that social media companies were doing a poor job when it came to handling misinformation about the coronavirus on social media platforms. In comparison, only 31 percent of responding women reported that social media companies were doing a poor job.
