Usage growth of D2C channel in the U.S. 2020, by sector
When asked whether they increased or decreased the use of direct to consumer (D2C) channels in their online shopping journey since the start of the pandemic, around eight percent of U.S. consumers stated they decreased D2C channel use for their shoe purchases. The leading consumer goods category where D2C use flourished were household products and food and beverages. There was about 2.4 percent net increase in D2C use for these categories.
