CPG ad spend change in the U.S. 2021, by medium
Between January and October of2021, following a widespread trend of investing in digital media rather than traditional ones (due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic a year earlier) consumer packaged goods in the United States saw ad spend growth in digital channels increased by a whopping 118 percent compared to 2020. Television and print ad spend saw declines of 11 and 27 percent, respectively.
