In June 2020, U.S. adults were more likely to remember to wash their hands before eating, after using the bathroom, and after coughing, sneezing or blowing their nose compared to during pre-pandemic times. This statistic shows the share of U.S. adults who reported remembering to wash their hands in select situations, before the COVID-19 pandemic (October, 2019) and after (June, 2020).
