U.S. non-LGBTQ people being more accepting due to LGBTQ representation in media 2019
A study from late 2019 on the impact of LGBTQ representation in media in the United States, found that 48 percent of non-LGBTQ respondents who were exposed to media representing LGBTQ communities in the preceding three months were more accepting of gays and lesbians. In comparison, the same was true for 35 percent of respondents who were not exposed to such media.
