Due to the global coronavirus pandemic in 2020, many employees were forced to begin working from home.
In a May 2020 survey, 29 percent of participants from the Baby Boomer generation said that the lack of a commute was the best part of working from home during the pandemic. The majority of the younger Millennial and Gen Z generations found that more time with the family was the best part of working from home.
